Chapter Nine

The rest of the afternoon, with the fountain and the glass of wine, seemed almost normal. Only right before the girls all went to bed, as tired (Tricia thought of herself at least, and Luisa, Frankie, and Mary all looked like they felt the same way) as they had ever been, did the daddies bring up what would happen the following evening.

Frankie and Mary had confided to the Giuliani girls, when they were looking at the beautiful fountain shaped like a sailing ship, that Mr. Bonner meant to share them at the big party. That revelation had sent Tricia’s pulse racing and roughened her breathing quite a lot. Luisa had told the Woods that Daddy Joe and Daddy Paul were going to share Tricia and Luisa with each other, and make them go down on each other. Frankie had gone pink as she told Luisa that she and Mary had to do that sometimes too, while their daddy watched. The conversation had felt intensely embarrassing, of course, but also a little reassuring. It had reminded Tricia of how it had felt back on Oak Street, finding out that she and Luisa weren’t the only ones whose panties got lowered for family discipline.

When Daddy Joe started talking, just before bed, however, about what would happen at the big party, red-faced embarrassment to be hearing about such shameful things with Frankie and Mary there replaced that reassurance. Tricia thought that maybe at some point, perhaps even as soon as tomorrow, she would feel better because their friends had to do and to undergo the same kind of big-girl things she and Luisa did. At that moment, though, she wished Daddy Joe had kept the embarrassing news to the Giuliani girls.

“This party is really going to be a few different parties,” he said, “in separate rooms at the hotel. We’re going to spend most of our time at the Oak Street one. You’ll see some more friends from there, and you’ll get to hang out with them for most of the night.”

“What are we going to wear?” Frankie asked, looking to her daddy. “We didn’t bring anything nice.”

“You girls are going to wear your usual clothes,” said Mr. Bonner, “and you’ll strip down to your underwear when we get there.”

“What?” Tricia asked her daddy. “But...”

“That’s right,” Daddy Joe confirmed, nodding. “Since you lost your panties, Tricia, you won’t be wearing anything but your training bra.”

Daddy Paul spoke next. “That’s where Daddy Joe and I are going to have big-girl time with you together, Tricia—and Luisa too, afterward. And you’ll do big-girl things with each other, too.”

“At the party?” Tricia asked, her whole body seeming to flash hot and cold. She looked over at Luisa, whose face had gone dusky red under her olive skin. Then she looked at Frankie and Mary, who wore identical expressions as they focused on the carpet, their lower lips between their teeth and their cheeks pink.

“Yes,” Daddy Joe confirmed. “At the party, sweetheart. We want to show everyone how your training is coming along.
